~Each computer connected to internet can communication with the other computer .
~ the computer connected to internet must be able to communication with one another .Theis is don by using a language called the transmission

    control protocol /Internet    protocol

~ (TCP/IP). This launguage act as a medium of communication among numerous computers in netwok .



  ~ you must have heard about email or website .these work through internet .

~ Internet  is made up of two separate words :Inter means 'between' and Net means 'connection'.

~ The set of intermation webpage, inculiding a homepage, generaly located on the same server that gives you information is called website.

INTERNET-WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

~ A network can be any system, carrying  interactive information .


~ In context of computer i.e. when we say computer network, it is a group of  computer that are connected together for sharing information and resources.

~ As such, there is no single standard definationfor internet. 

~ The definition varies depending on the user  who uses it for various purpose.
